also fixes .so being installed as file, not symlink

note the patch is imperfect:
- makes install not re-entrant (uses mv)
- the soname file has no symlinks

fix libdir install

make: do not run clean and make in same target

(obviously) breaks parallel make: make -j9

move sed patching to .patch file
