- don't break the _GLIBCXX_EXTERN_TEMPLATE redefinition in c++config.h header.
  currently the build system produces a broken 'define _GLIBCXX_EXTERN_TEMPLATE 1 -1'.
  (only libstdc++ debug mode affected).
